This fall, IMRF conducted elections for one Annuitant Trustee for a five-year term, two Employee Trustees for five-year terms and one Executive Trustee for a three-year term.
The IMRF Board of Trustees certified the election results at their meeting on December 19, 2025.
Annuitant Trustee
Tom Kuehne has been elected Annuitant Trustee and will serve a term from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2030. For more information about Trustee Kuehne, click here.
Employee Trustees
Douglas Cycholl has been elected Employee Trustee and will serve a term from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2030. For more information about Trustee Cycholl, click here.

Executive Trustee
Peter Stefan has been elected Executive Trustee and will serve a three-year term of office from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028. For more information about Trustee Stefan, click here.
Two candidates for Executive Trustee were unopposed in the election for two-year and five-year terms. The Board also certified their appointment.
