Our Member Services Contact Center is currently experiencing a higher-than-normal volume of calls and emails. Due to this increase, you may experience extended call wait or email response times.
IMRF has hired and is training additional staff for the Member Services Contact Center to be able to respond to all inquiries more quickly. However, it takes time to properly train staff to be able to answer the wide variety of questions our members have, but please know we are working as fast as possible on these training efforts.
To alleviate any additional wait time you may experience, we encourage you to use one of our many self-service functions in your Member Access account to start the process of applying for benefits, changing your address, changing your direct deposit information, updating your tax withholding, or designating a new beneficiary.
We are working hard at getting to your calls and emails as quickly as possible, while also increasing the number of people who are trained to help you. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
