Secured Member Access Area of IMRF Online

I am pleased to announce IMRF members will have access to specific information regarding their IMRF account. This change is effective effective April 1, 2003.
What will a member find at IMRF’s Member Access area?
- View his or her
- Wages and contributions
- Years and months of service credit
- Address
- Refund amount
- Death benefit estimate
- Disability benefit estimate
- Calculate
- Pension estimate using his or her actual final rate of earnings and service credit
- Submit
- A request for a Formal pension estimate (Form BF-20)
- Member information change (Form 6.20)
The Secured Member Access area also includes a page explaining Account Privacy and Security and a page of Frequently Asked Questions.
Who can receive a Secured Member Access account?
- Members actively participating in IMRF (including members receiving disability benefits)
- Inactive/terminated members who have contributions/service credit on deposit
- Members receiving an IMRF pension
Please note: IMRF must have a valid address for a member. If none is available, the member will not receive a Secured Member Access account.
How does a member gain access to the Secured Member Access area of IMRF Online?
In order to access the Secured Member Access area of IMRF Online:
- The member completes our online account request process
- IMRF mails the member a temporary user ID and password within two business days
- The next time the member signs on, he or she will be asked to create a new User ID and password and a “account profile.”
Please note: members cannot request or receive a user ID and password by phone or email due to security restrictions.
