OAK BROOK, Ill — On December 20, the IMRF Board of Trustees appointed Jason Isaac as Employee Trustee effective January 1, 2025, filling the vacancy that will be created by Peter Stefan’s appointment to an Executive Trustee position.
Isaac is the Lead Maintenance Technician for Champaign Unit 4 School District and a licensed plumber. Isaac has been an Illinois Education Association (IEA) Union member for more than 13 years. He is currently serving his second term as Champaign Educational Support Professionals (CESP) Vice President. CESP is an Educational Cooperative Organization that represents over 750 bargaining-unit members. He served on the CESP contract negotiation team in 2016 and 2022.

Isaac’s appointment as IMRF Employee Trustee runs through December 31, 2025. In the fall of 2025, IMRF will hold an Employee Trustee election for a full five-year term beginning January 1, 2026.
