IMRF is committed to continuously improving the services it provides to its members and retirees. After gathering feedback and listening to concerns, IMRF today implemented a software update designed to improve Member Access.
Updating Member Access is going to be an ongoing process,” said Executive Director Brian Collins. “Our goal is to continue to evaluate and improve Member Access for our members and retirees. Visit the Member Access Learning Center to find updated resources designed to help you navigate Member Access and the new changes.”
Most of the changes in Member Access are designed to make it more user-friendly while not changing its core functions. Some highlights include:
- More descriptive status updates when submitting claims online and in the Activity History widget.
- Clearer explanations and improved methods of submission for requests for information.
Some other improvements include:
- More detailed member data in the Pension Profile widget.
- More updated member wage history.
- An easier process to submit documents requested by IMRF.
The Member Access Learning Center has been updated with new “how to guides” and videos for actions that have changed as a result of the update.
If you have additional questions or need assistance, please send IMRF a secure message in Member Access.
