Executive Director, Rolling Meadows Library, 2024 to present. IMRF member since 2013 with increasingly responsible roles in public libraries.
Duties
As Executive Director, I manage library finances: budgeting, levying, auditing, reporting, and investing reserves. I am Treasurer of CCS, a 34-library consortium. I lead 58 staff, overseeing HR, IMRF, insurance, and benefits. I support the Library Board, ensure legal compliance, guide core services, and direct strategic planning and capital projects.
Other Pertinent Information
I deeply value IMRF and its record of fiscal responsibility. The Horizon platform rollout has created frustration for both employers and participants; I am committed to addressing those concerns and improving service. Though Tier 2 has existed for 15 years and now includes 70% of active members, it has had only one Trustee. As a Tier 2 participant, I would add that perspective while serving members of every tier. My goal is to keep IMRF fiscally sound, transparent, and accountable.
