It will take approximately eight weeks to process your benefit after the later of – the date IMRF receives all required information OR your benefit effective date. This includes retirements, death benefits, and disability benefits. For member contribution refunds and Voluntary Additional Contribution refunds, please allow approximately eight weeks processing time after IMRF receives the required information.
Logging in to your Member Access account allows you to view your annual Statement of Benefits, 1099-R statement, 13th Payment statement, and EFT statements. The secure message feature in Member Access also allows you to send documents to IMRF or ask questions securely.
The 2026 Final Rate Notice is available now in Employer Access! The Final Rate Notice provides your employer's 2026 Annual Contribution Rate for each of its IMRF plans. Learn how to access your Final Rates here.
