IMRF can only accept the 2021 W-4P form
The IRS has updated IRS form W-4P for 2022. However, they are allowing organizations one year to prepare their systems for the new form. IMRF is not yet able to process the 2022 version of the form.
If you try to update your withholding using the 2022 version of the W-4P, IMRF will not be able to accept the form.
Submit a 2021 W-4P if you update your withholding
If you wish to update your withholding, you can:
- Update your withholding through Member Access (the easiest way!)
- Complete a paper copy of the 2021 W-4P. You can download it from IMRF here.
