OAK BROOK, Ill. – On Friday, the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) Board of Trustees approved $85 million in commitments to 2 firms in the Alternatives asset class.
The Board approved commitments to the following:
- Up to $60 million in aggregate to Versant Venture Capital VIII, L.P., Versant Voyageurs II, L.P., and Versant Vantage II, L.P., subject to satisfactory legal due diligence. IMRF is an existing investor in Versant’s Private Equity Funds totaling $120 million in aggregate commitments.
- Up to $25 million to Lightspeed Venture Partner’s LSVP TIPL-D SPV, LLC, subject to satisfactory legal due diligence. IMRF is an existing investor in Lightspeed’s Private Equity Funds totaling $468.1 million in aggregate commitments.
As of September 30, the total IMRF portfolio was valued at $45.2 billion.
