Our new and improved online Employer Access and enhanced wage reporting system will be launching soon. We have not received a wage report test file from your employer.
You are required to submit a wage report test file
To make sure you can successfully report wages in our new Employer Access, you must:
- Create a full IMRF Wage Report Test File.
- Send your completed Wage Report Test File to IMRF.
To keep member data safe, send your test wage report in a Secure Message through your secure Employer Access account. When sending, include “New IMRF Wage Report Test File” in the subject line of your Secure Message.

Do you use the services of a payroll software provider?
If you do not prepare your own file and use the services of a payroll software provider, please contact your provider about creating your new IMRF Wage Report file. If needed, you can provide them these documents so they can prepare your test file.
What happens if you don’t send a test file?
Without a successfully tested wage report, you and your members will have significant challenges after the transition to the new system. This will result in:
- Increased wage file processing time
- Late wage report and payment submissions
- Inaccuracies in employer and member accounts
- Delays in member benefit processing
- Increased challenges to obtain timely support from IMRF to resolve these issues.
