Legal Counsel of the Fund presented a certificate wherein the Board certified that a referendum was held pursuant to the law, and that more than two thirds of the eligible employees of the Illinois Municipal Public Utility Employees Annuity and Benefit Fund voted in favor of a plan of coordinating benefits of this Fund with the Federal Social Security. The following resolution was then presented:
RESOLVED THAT: The certificate, as presented, be signed by the Board of Trustees and forwarded to the Governor.
