4.12 IMRF Members

An employee who works in a position not excluded from IMRF coverage (such as some police, fire, and teaching positions) and whose position meets the annual hourly standard The hourly standard (either 600 or 1,000 hours a year) determines whether or not a position qualifies for IMRF participation.
