Retired Members can now change their address online through Member Access

If you haven’t already done so, there’s one more reason to sign up for an IMRF secure Member Access account. You can now change your address with IMRF over the internet with a Member Access account. (Please note that surviving spouses and other beneficiaries are not able to request a Member Access account at this time)

Changing your address online is quick and easy. Using Member Access is especially convenient if you reside in more than one residence during the year and need to update your address frequently with IMRF.

Changing your information
Once you have an account, simply log on to Member Access, click the “Online Forms” link and choose to update your member information. You only need to enter information that has changed.

For your additional security, you will be prompted to re-enter your password before you can change any account information.

Leave enough time for processing
In order for your address change to be in effect for the month following your request, it must be processed by IMRF before the 12th of the month. Please allow 3-5 business days for your address change request to be processed.

Request your Member Access account now!

IMRF Online provides a brief summary of IMRF benefits and the adminstration of those benefits. IMRF members' and employers' rights and obligations are governed by Article 7 of the Illinois Pension Code. Statements in these publications are general, and the Illinois state law governing IMRF is complex and specific. If a conflict arises between information in these publications and the law, all decisions are based on the law.
