How can you ensure prompt payment into your savings or checking account?

Sign up to receive your payment through electronic funds transfer system (EFTS), also known as direct deposit. You will need to complete Form 1199.

After you print the form, your bank will need to complete the bottom portion of the form. It should then be faxed or mailed to IMRF. Remember to keep a copy for your records.

Another way to obtain Form 1199 is to call 1-800-ASK-IMRF
(1-800-275-4673) and request one be mailed to you.

IMRF Online provides a brief summary of IMRF benefits and the adminstration of those benefits. IMRF members' and employers' rights and obligations are governed by Article 7 of the Illinois Pension Code. Statements in these publications are general, and the Illinois state law governing IMRF is complex and specific. If a conflict arises between information in these publications and the law, all decisions are based on the law.
