If you do contact IMRF via email, we may preserve the content of your message, your email address, and our response so that we can efficiently respond to questions you might have. We also do this in an effort to meet legal and regulatory requirements.

IMRF will never send any confidential information to you by email. We will also never send you an email that requests confidential information from you, such as your Social Security number, your user ID and password, or other personal information.

However, we may send you email that requests you to log in to your secure Member or Employer Access account to view information specific to your account. Such emails will always direct you to visit www.imrf.org and to log in to your secure account.

If you receive an email that directs you to another website or asks for confidential information, do not respond and contact IMRF immediately at 1-800-ASK-IMRF (1-800-275-4673).

When we begin sending email that notifies you of available information in the secured Member or Employer Access area, we will provide an opt-out procedure for those users who do not wish to be contacted by email for any reason.

Do not leave the computer unattended while you are logged in to your account
Always log off of IMRF’s secure areas when you are finished viewing or submitting information.
As you browse IMRF Online’s non-secure areas, no personal information is revealed or recorded about you. Our server does log information about your service provider, the date and time pages are accessed, and (if applicable) the internet address linking you to IMRF Online. This information is used solely for tracking the site’s usage and performance. IMRF does not share this data with any third parties.
