How can I find out about open positions at IMRF?

All open positions are posted in the "Employment at IMRF" area of IMRF Online. Job descriptions describing the requirements and responsibilities can be found there.

How long will a job be posted?

The job opening will be posted until the position is filled.

How can I apply for an open position at IMRF?

  1. Send your resumes to Human Resources at IMRF.
  2. Resumes are accepted by mail, fax, or email.
    • The mailing address is:

Is there a preferred file type, if I email my resume?

Yes, we recommend that you send your resume as a Microsoft Word file and attach the file to your email message.

How can I schedule an interview?

Once the resume is received by IMRF, it is reviewed to determine if the requirements of experience/education level have been met for the position. Those resumes that most closely meet the requirements may be selected for interviews. A contact will be made at that time to schedule an interview.

Will I receive notification that my resume was received?

No. You will only be contacted if you are selected for an interview.

Can I submit my resume even if there is not an open position for which I am qualified?

Resumes are accepted for current open positions only. Unsolicited resumes will not be considered.

Will my resume be kept on file?

Individuals must submit a separate resume for each posted job opening for which they wish to be considered.
