Since 2008, IMRF has partnered with the University of Illinois Extension to provide workshops on various topics. Workshops are at various locations throughout the state, and are provided at no cost to our retired members and a guest of their choice.

In 2011, we will offer "Finding Your Get Up and Go"

Do you ever have times when it just seems hard to “get going?” Some days it seems much easier to drag your feet and procrastinate. But don’t give up—there are steps you can take to overcome that lethargic feeling, take charge, and face a brand new day! At the workshop Finding Your Get Up and Go, you will learn strategies for getting motivated and taking action. You will also learn about optimism, attitude, social involvement, positive outlook, and how these play a critical role in how you view the world around you.
