If you employ a reservist in the United States military, he or she will be interested in knowing
what benefits are available through the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund if they are ordered to active duty.

IMRF Sponsored Group Term Life Insurance

Some IMRF employers participate in the group term life insurance program offered by NCPERS. Activated reservists may continue to participate in this program as long as their employers consider them to be active employees and as long as their employers continue to remit the monthly premium payments.
