What are the benefits of using the EFT systems?

While you must still send the required monthly wage documents to IMRF, several advantages are gained by paying with the EFT system:

  1. User-friendly and easy to use. The EFT Pay-by-Phone system is available 24 hours a day and can be accessed from anywhere by telephone. Pay Online is available 22 hours a day from any computer with internet access. Both systems will guide you through the payment process.
  2. Free of charge. Accessing the Pay-by-Phone system is toll-free and all charges are paid by IMRF. Pay Online requires that you have internet access available but there is no additional charge to your for using the system. No more need to issue checks.
  3. Controlled by you. A payment is initiated only after your completed call or successful online payment process. This offers both timeliness and full cash flow control.
  4. Secure. First Data’s technology provides you with secure payment transactions. Payments made on the IMRF First Data system can be sent only to IMRF.
