2011 Executive Trustee Election Results

This fall, IMRF employers elected one Executive Trustee for a five-year term.

These results were certified by IMRF's Board of Trustees at its December 16, 2011, Board meeting.

Mark F. Nannini

Present Position — Director of Finance and Treasurer for the City of Crystal Lake.

Length of Service — Current employer – six years. Previously, Director of Finance - City of Rolling Meadows – nine years, Assistant Finance Director/Comptroller - Village of Niles – 10 years.

Duties — Day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, which include accounts payable/receivable, investments, payroll, adjudication, budgeting and financial planning and forecasting. Member of the Crystal Lake Firefighter Pension Fund and Crystal Lake Police Pension Fund.

Other Pertinent Information
— Undergraduate degree in accounting and MBA in Finance. I am a Certified Illinois Municipal Treasurer, Past President of the Illinois Government Finance Officers Association (IGFOA), National Budget Reviewer for the Government Finance Officers Association, and Past Chairman of the Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency (IRMA). My candidacy is endorsed by Illinois City/County Management Association (ILCMA) and Illinois Government Finance Officers Association (IGFOA).

I believe my training and experience have given me the financial background and knowledge to make positive contributions to the IMRF Board.
